Ring of Thorns
Ring Of Thorns
Jesus came from heaven above
Filled our world with pure new love
Our Saviour, he was reborn
We repaid with a ring of thorns
Jesus came to save our souls
Showed that life holds miracles
Like true men we brought him down
Placed on his head a thorny crown
Jesus shared his love for us
Taught forgiveness care and trust
Our Saviour, he was reborn
We repaid with a ring of thorns
Jesus taught to love and care
Followers were everywhere
Like true men we brought him down
Placed on his head a thorny crown
He was torn torn torn
By that ring of thorns
So torn torn torn
By the ring of thorns
A ring of thorns to tear his brow
A ring of thorns to bring him down
As he stood there all forlorn
He shed blood from a ring of thorns
Jesus died to set us free
Showered love on you and me
Our Saviour, he was reborn
We repaid with a ring of thorns
Sent his message clear and true
Peace and love for me and you
Like true men we brought him down
Placed on his head a thorny crown
He was made to wear that ring of thorns
It drew his blood until he was torn
I ask myself oh why oh why
Though God forgave did his son die
He was torn torn torn
By that ring of thorns
So torn torn torn
By the ring of thorns
A ring of thorns to tear his brow
A ring of thorns to bring him down
As he stood there all forlorn
He shed his blood from a ring of thorns
