Riding the Waves

The waves of life they rise they fall From beginning to end we ride them all Moments of joy, moments of love Riding high up above Peace, family, happiness, success In this ocean of life we are truly blessed Then comes the times the waves crash So we dive Trying to cope just to survive Anxiety, fear, uncertainty, grief Comes crashing down Dragging us underneath Those moments in time where we see no end Perhaps never to ride those waves again Yet time always passes Those waves rise once more We will be riding high like we did before So in this ocean of waves Life for man We just ride those waves as best we can!
