Revival Surely Comes
Revival comes with music; strike up the band, the voices; raising arms, swaying gently with the Spirit’s wind. Savor the fresh breath of heaven flowing through the sanctuary. Open the windows and doors of heaven; see who sits at the right hand of God. See the angels who serve Him day and night. Anointing oil pours out on the humans as the incense of prayer drifts up to the Lord. He hears! He hears! We hear from heaven. The choir of holy resound. Can you feel how alive the eternal bliss; every flower and rock cries out, but Christ wants for us; He loves us so and is delighted at our gathering of days and days. We praise! We lift our voices, lovely like flutes. Revival comes; it surely comes. We are excited! There is nothing boring about serving the Lord, about our communion of saints, and the leaders are all smiles, hearts beating like wings - not above it all but smiling ear to ear; their eyes glowing candles, they share to each one who will receive. Compelling all to wonder and sight; and colorful sound, if each soul will but tune into, be stirred to flight, to warm and celebrant breath of angel applause. Did you know? Have you heard? The angels rejoice at each person’s salvation…
higher and higher
our hands take flight at His name
never touching earth
