Everybody's in it for what they can do for themselves. I suppose that's what happens when you let a person vote on their own salary.

Thanks Jerry.. read the constitution. I believe it was set up that way. Imagine the public voting on them, right now the public is into free stuff for me mode. Finally see who you voted for In all elections.Hold their feet to the firei dont rubber stamp a group as evil. I know who the abuserss are. But not all are eviland we can vote them out. Thanks for sharing this , let’s all not vote anymore?? It makes no sense to do so, if every politician is a thief. There are some who are. I mean in billions. And there are quite ethical ones. They never get credit! Thieves are in every sector, Example, writers heist other peoples “work. But nobody says all writers are evil, do they? Pangie

Some are evil.you are not one. You did inspire me to write a poem, though, so thank you. Ps. Do you know who Steve Scalise is? Outstanding Comgressman. You do know who Hiikind is. Great man. Too bad hes not in office. I would vote for him in a New York minute. Poets, being human can hide our sins. Who writes about our trash on TV. Nobody. Besides, you know better than I about LaShon Hara. I think its a sane way to live..pR
