This is brilliant. We can never understand God because He is immense and we are but a grain of sand. Blessings.

well said, Victor! I agree...we should never underestimate God. We diminish him in our own humanness. have a blessed day, Sara

Faith in those things unseen is always a challenge, but what I love about poetry is that we learn of the deeper hope, love, faith, even doubt in others.. that we are all struggling at times too.. Poetry connects us with those deeper things we share, and acts as the mirror you so eloquently speak of, Sara. I like this on a deep level :) Fav

wow, thank you same for your comments about faith. You're right, poetry connects us and allows us to see our shared humanity, both our frailties and our strengths. Yes, I believe they act as mirrors. I humbly thank you for faving my poem. I appreciate you doing so. Grateful beyond words. Enjoy your weekend, Sara

this dwarfs the horse and carriage conundrum.....let the torment begin..nicely done Sara as I believe that any poem that stirs us to think, question, inquire or wonder is a rousing success.

I appreciate the comparison between the horse and carriage. Made me smile, John. I appreciate your visit and your thoughtful comments about my poem stirring folks to think, etc. You're most kind. Have a splendid evening, Sara

So much to think about with this one despite its simplicity as a concept. I find myself flipping back and forward regarding what I should have known... How different things might pan out if we acted with faith rather than impulse. It's often easy to see the consequence of a decision as you are making it but so easy to choose not to think about where it will take you. I love this one and will fave as a guiding principle x

Wow, thank you for faving this poem. I agree. Sometimes I act too much from impulse and not from faith. I'm learning, though. My mother used to say "hindsight is 20/20." I appreciate your wise words and your ongoing visits. Have a pleasant evening, Sara

hmm this is a mystery to me, but I do believe that Faith should always come first and foremost Sara, your poems are short but full of meaning. :)

thanks for stopping by and for commenting "Mystic." I agree with you regarding faith. Faith is at the core of courage and hope. Without faith, we struggle. Enjoy your day, Sara
