Return To Me

Cold rain touches my skin, alerts me to winter on the way Then, warm summer memories flash and go astray Replaced by thoughts of wood fires and hot cocoa While watching the beauty of pure, new, fallen snow As I accept the sudden changes and all this gray sky I know some memories on which I can trust to rely Like the nice flowing seasons, that always return to me I hold onto what means most, in my heart will always be Heidi Sands 11/7/19

Beautiful Heidi, you always create the most wondrous scene when you write about the nature that you find every day. Absolutely beautiful.

Hi Vijay. Yes, it sure is a raw, cold day here. It is raining here, with maybe snow North of here. The sunrise you mention sounds gorgeous! I saw the beautiful moon last night. Thank you for your comment :)
