Notes About The Poem

For Unseeking Seeker's Soul Speak Poetry Contest/ Aug. 19, 2024

Premiere Contest WinnerResponse to Soul Speak

 Line of inquiry

"I Am as I Am complete
Though ego opines otherwise
Invoking grace we feel God’s heartbeat
What else does there remain for us to realise" - Unseeking Seeker

I know myself – my strengths as well as flaws.
Since God created me, He knows them too.
It just makes sense that daily I should pause
reflecting on good works I ought to do.

No one on earth is perfect, but we can
have access to our Lord if we but pray.
God is your friend; present him with your plan
for self-improvement. Do this every day!

It isn’t always easy; we are frail,
but God took on Himself the sins of all.
Again and again even though we fail,
we still should call on Him each time we fall.

Love and kindness we should all be using
on our fellow man, with love’s light glowing.
Our faith we prove by actions we are choosing
and the seeds of love that we are sowing.

Wow! Congratulations! Thanks for sharing this spiritual muse of yours... I'm especially delighted with this stanza: "It isn’t always easy; we are frail, but God took on Himself the sins of all. Again and again even though we fail, we still should call on Him each time we fall." God bless you.

I see that you are walking closer to the heels of God these days. As frail human beings, we all have many shortcomings. But with love in our hearts and contrition in our conscience, God will speak to us and comfort us. When we open to God, divine grace will flow to us. A beautiful poem, Andrea.

What a brilliant take! Youv interpreted and written very well on line of enquiry. Especially the opening lines! I just posted my take on this and i think we did highlight same points but in different ways. Yours is so straightforward and many can resonate with yours and feel yours! Seeker is a teacher , that is getting so many of us to embrace awakening and acceptance and divine bliss. Best wishes. I think this will be a winner.
