Respect For Grandma's Words
Sage, with timeless lessons, her words in my ears,
spoken earnestly before mistakes were made.
Carried through from childhood, to adult years.
Words, as a mother, I was compelled to say.
If to stray off the path, her words I will hear.
Although gone, Grandma's presence still felt today.
Words heard by, yet another generation,
Grandma would be proud of our destinations.
