Respect For Grandma's Words

Sage, with timeless lessons, her words in my ears, spoken earnestly before mistakes were made. Carried through from childhood, to adult years. Words, as a mother, I was compelled to say. If to stray off the path, her words I will hear. Although gone, Grandma's presence still felt today. Words heard by, yet another generation, Grandma would be proud of our destinations. For the contest: Rispetto (respect) Sponsored by Dr. Ram Mehta Placement: 3rd

When I was a kid, I didn't think my grandmother was very smart. Amazing how she got so much wiser as I got older, Paula. Congratulations on your win in Dr. Ram's contest! Love, Carolyn
