Resolutions of 2020

New Year's Resolution 2020 I was going to lose weight But was harder than I thought So I decided to grow taller But that did not work out either. I decide to change it to: I will call my mother every week. I do it for three weeks, but she unexpectedly passes on January 28th. Another wasted New Year's resolution. I will see my friends more often; in March we get Covid 19. At a cousin's funeral in April I see an aunt and decide to call her weekly. My newest new year's resolution, but she cannot not hear the phone. What about my other aunt? I try calling her a week or two, but she presses the Face Time button and gives me a three to ten hour tour of her house. By May I decided I needed a new calling target, because I am sheltering in place and cannot see real people. I call my cousin. How is your health? I ask. I don’t have time to talk she says. Can I call you once a month for five minutes? Sure, she agrees, then she hangs up. Best new year's resolution idea I have ever had. I am keeping it for this year also.
