Resolutions 2023
Resolutions I don’t often care to make,
for every one I make, I am sure to break.
So to keep it fun and easy, I resolve
that from any guilt I feel, my own self I’ll absolve.
An easy resolution this should surely be
since I rarely find a thing of which to feel guilty!
One other resolution I can find -
the one that seems to be on nearly everybody’s mind
when during months winter months the fat sets in.
Oh, to lose those extra pounds of weighty sin!
Somehow, some way, I simply have to try it.
After holiday I’ll be on some kind of diet!
