Repristination

Oh to be again pristine, to be so young and fresh. However can it happen? Oh, how might I refresh? Just think of it! To go back to innocence of youth. To rose’s bloom on my cheeks, but what of life and truth? Would I really want to go far back into my past knowing all I now know and how life goes so fast? Instead of looking backwards, I’m wiser now and know that our rebirth happens when beyond this earth we go! March 14, 2023 for Edward Ibeh's Pick-A-Title, Vol 35 Poetry Contest

To go back to innocent childhood days is impossible. Still I make excursions to those pristine days of innocence. Again we can only wait for our re birth in God's Kingdom. Well done Andrea

I think we are what we are, at any given point in our life Andrea, sometimes we compare ourselves to different age groups, but how could we be a child again knowing what we know, like yourself, I somehow don’t think it would work out, great one for the contest, cheers David

Would like to go back to change that, maybe that other thing, and definitely those circumstances that led to that other thing.
