Remembering Mighty Mouse

When I was young Mighty Mouse was the first cartoon of the day. Before we saw him on Saturdays; we heard his theme song so gay Flying from left to right across our screen, in full black and white. His super cape and his form fitting suit made him look just right. We thought he was an amazing muscular, handsome mouse. We were all lying on the floor watching him, everyone in the house. Even though he was a grayscale cartoon, he was our super hero. “Mighty Mouse will save the day!” was his mantra. Mighty Mouse was no zero.
