JOHNNA 8-4-1995 - 8-4-1995 God's gift of life so many cherished From the moment she was known of Nourished next to her mother's heart Johnna had to know the feeling of love Fighting vigorously to stop labor Anxiously fearful it wasn't enough God's little girl born way too little Johnna had to know the feeling of love Pain and heartbreak couldn't stop Her mother's kisses and touch Lying snuggled to each other Johnna had to know the feeling of love Last breath taken in loving arms Angels lifted her to heaven above Such a short time to be on this earth Johnna had to know the feeling of love Birthday celebrations each passing year Grateful for blessings when loss is tough So many keep her close in their hearts Johnna has to know the feeling of love +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Written 12/13/2015 Honorable Mention in 'Sweet Remembrance of You' Contest by craig cornish
