Remember the Great Day
R-emember the great day,
O-ne moment of delight;
N-ice event and occasion
A-re just leaving the night.
M-ist and haze are gone,
O-n August second day;
R-ise of the sun has begun,
T-wilight has gone away.
I-n the sky the clouds fade, as the birds chirp and play;
Z-ealously I write a rhyme to remember the great day.
