Remember Me
Remember me when
I am lost in your midst
when the shadows invade
my thoughts my expressions
remember me in the stillness
of night where the frisky owl
breaks the branches from
the fragile Douglas firs
with wings spread out across
the wide open grandeur
remember my laughter
soaring throughout the forest
capture me within the morning dew
of resting falcons beaks beckoning
my inner most calm
remember me oh remember me
sweet firm oak craving my darkness
open me with the light
of quietness removing
all stains from my aching back
my weeping eyes my withered mind
leaning against the roughness
of the swaying pine
