Soft falling snow in the night Wakens the senses in darkness Everything wears a coat of white But the beauty it brings is no less Sprinkles sparkle in light through air Melting upon the touch of my skin All I can do is stop, stand and stare Releasing needless battles I can’t win Heidi Sands 12/6/19
