Regrets
Regrets work their way through my heart
Calling out to me to give myself a new start
Regrets from the past
A past that could never last
Regrets which bid me to hide my true being!
Yet, don't we all regret something
Be it love or even a matter of great becoming
Somehow, it is in our nature to regret
For what is gone, we shall never ever get
But is it enough a reason for me to ruin my being?
A man he was,
He waged with me, many a wars
He left on me, many a scars
Now I only see him only from afars
And I realize that life and love can be lusty liars
Though regrets do burn in me
I relish my other harmony
Other than seeking to find the Heavens
Other than wanting to be arisen
I have, for myself, no other aim!
Shall I someday have the visit of an everlasting romance
I shall share with it, a dazzling dance
Life is made of the past, of youth and of its mistakes
It is certainly not reason enough to put our tomorrow at stake
Regrets I hold of yesterday, made me the person I am today!
