Reflections of Fall

the sketch of dawn cascades against the hills in sanguine splashes tipped of coral hues beneath the yawn of sun reflective horizon mirrored in trees a linger of warmth within autumn's breath arouses my emotions i twirl thoughts like leaves as they gracefully fall in a downward spiral suspended temporarily in a wayward breeze i watch as they tumble one by one like life of each now lost memories keep me grounded beneath the pitch of shifting wind yet my mind rustles the same as leaves i feel emotions being stripped like trees within fall's breath knowing with certainty soon they too will stand naked, grounded, alone

Amazing poetic expression my friend - "sketches of dawn," "yawn of the sun," "emotions...stripped." The passing of the season mingled with the passing of memories. Nicely done. Congratulations on your top win! Prayers and blessigs.

Leaves falling is one thing but emotions falling alone on the ground, that is a heart breaker. Your poem has all of the beauty of the fall season though still carries a feeling of sadness. Wonderful and amazing as always my friend. Know that here, your emotions may fall but they will never rest alone.

my muse seems to love emotions and sadness, why i don't know, i was born in the fall, so it has to be good right? lol, i just know that after all its beauty shines, it leaves the scenery a little dull...no color except sunrise midway through its reign, it's like the world around us is in black and white until spring... Thank you my friend :) hugs
