Reflection
As the sun begins to set
and it's final rays slowly dance
across this golden pond
I silently stare into her reflection
staring back at me
past the old and the weathered ripples
down beneath the surface
into the soul
the deep and loving soul
the memories bubble out
memories of kindness and love
honesty and humility
and memories of you
how I'd do anything for you
for us
I stand here in silence
and dream
