Making the noise That blocks the serenity It disrupts the peace Like a vulgar obscenity It's hard to avoid And difficult to forget With constant reminders It's a serious threat You push it away And it closes the gap Struggle to move And and it secures it's trap It's on your mind And hard to erase It sneaks up from behind And looks you in the face When it sees in your eyes It's not making an impression It releases control And turns over possession You redirect your focus No longer feeling shame And without your attention It forfeits the game As it disappears You know your affection Defeated the enemy That was once your reflection
