"The pure heart is a spotless mirror in which images of infinite beauty are reflected." - Rumi I once saw two mirrors which were facing each other at just the right angle so that my image was repeated again and again and again - seemingly for an infinity. It was an amazing thing to behold. Let us stand with purity of heart as if we stood between two such mirrors, our beauty shining from within. Let us reflect God’s pure love in both thought and in deed so our souls will shine forth evermore the glory of our Lord.

Yes, I agree that we should reflect God's pure love, but we know that we as humans can't possibly do that all of the time. Thanks for reminding us that we should. I appreciate you participating in my contest. Congratulations on your winning work. Way to go. Sara K

Andrea, Rumi must have been an amazing person--the ancients had a number of very wise individuals. If we can act with love in thoughts and deeds that would truly lead to a better world. I love the image you talk about here. It's been a while since I've seen that effect, but it is unforgettable. BTW, I've been both sick and away for a while so it's good to be back and see your work. You are the first poet I read on this rebound. I feel like bouncing between mirrors!
