Redemption

In the shining light, The sun fades, Shifting to night, The last of days, The people around me, They surround me, Fake like the masks they wear, Through this darkness I dare, The cold leeching through my bones, Grasps at me with clawed hands, With a shoulder I shrug, With my head up I advance, In the shining light, The sun fades, Shifting to night, The last of days, With hands clasped together, I will lead us through this endeavor, Out of the cold out of the night, May we persevere into the light, The biting cold melted by your touch, You all lead me as I lead you, Through this darkness the world’s dark enough, Until the sun shines through, We must stick together life is tough, The unified peoples make the flame, That ignites the torch of redemption day, We must put a stop to this petty game, We are one, Hear our name, In the shining light, The sun still shines, We have made it out, All of us, Redefined.
