A leaf will tremble
As the traveler moves on
Do you see me here, falling?

My love, forever
I will dare to reach for you
And hold you close to my heart.

Congratulations Jua Ng (an interesting name, meaning "John 7") on your 2nd place. The image of the trembling leaf and the reference to "falling" in the first tercet, are effectively contrasted with reaching and holding the person close in the second tercet -- the mood change is subtle. The final lines of each verse demonstrate the crux of the matter.
