I enjoyed you sedoka, Jay. You say you took ESL I guess you were not in the type of school like we have. We do,, however, have a core class that integrates all the skills; Reading, writing, speaking and listening. I just happen to prefer teaching the grammar class. Also, I only teach nursery rhymes to beginners. All my students of high levels hated poetry, so I don't even try to teach it to them anymore. Nursery thymes are great for teaching rhythm, rhyme, and pronunciation.
