Title: Red Moon Rising
Written on July 26, 2023
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Zechariah 2:5 (KJV) For I, saith the Lord, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
Eerie night, casting its shadows
Across the heart, carrying the wind
Its trembling echo, soothing
Gentling the reflections, glistening
Glitter sprinkled like laughter,
Over the heavens, inspiring hope
Stardust ripples in the nocturnal silence
Blessings, tempting the moon
From its solitude, establishing
A blood red pearl, high above the seas
Where wonders retell the beautiful
Indulging the faded splashes,
Kissing the beach like the reflection
Red moon rising – to relieve the soul,
Coloring the dreams in hues of blushing
Grace, and peace, so still it promises
Though the moon has bled forever
Stirring the moments with endless breath
Love so precious it feels like a whispered prayer,
Consoling the clear, dark skies with flaming red
Tears as clear as dew, just as stunning
Preparing the spirit whose yearning
For the moment when night has bled and
The sun quiets this glowing pearl, stirring
Awake the dawn who sees through the crimson
Moon, into the heart of a light who is known
For its tenderness – its truth, the miracle
Gracious as the soul expressed by the haunting
of twilight, the dusk demanding…
red moon rising, hypnotizing hearts,
fascinating the majestic touch
from a feeling – bleeding with grace
