Beautiful Scars Poet Quatrain

- Reborn -

the gray sky fell so many years ago, 
i spent years searching and dreaming-
seems my purpose appeared very slow, 
now ease and inspiration beaming!

lights without fear encompass me, 
a genuine gift my spirit guides sent-
now i am living happy, joyous and free,
doing what makes me happy and content 

i’m drowning in the kindness of friends, 
giving to those who need a warm smile-
as my brilliant mind transcends
into my own artistic creative style

roads once blocked now i travel,
no dam can hold me in the undertow-
when all the stress of life begins to unravel,
all the love inside my soul i shall bestow

now I live a life too good to comprehend,
all the sorrow turned dusk into morn-
my radiant light has begun to ascend, 
for I am Laura…
                    and I have been reborn
