Detest I scrawlings scratched of crawling rats,
my gorge full rising with each long-tailed line,
while love I lyrics penned on pussycats,
like all the odes sublime I ink on mine --
yet know I each rat has a conscious brain,
and thus, as every cat, each rat feels pain.

a dedication of Respect
for
each Objective Truth beyond all Rational doubt
a revolving helios rhyme menippean satire on
sensibility --
merely a bias
april, 2023 -- yet countless romanticists and rhymesters
still appealing to readers' emotional prejudices
(in addition to psychological bigotries)
