Very thought provoking David. I marvel at the growth of my toenails every day. An eternity of humdrum would be devastating. My thoughts loosely link your poem to a Mark Twain quote, "Heaven is for the climate; Hell is for the company." Thanks David...

That’s one great quote Jeff, People probably think I’m nuts pondering such things like eternity, most people won’t go there the implications gives them sleepless nights, but I believe human logic should try comprehend and answer these open ended questions, good to hear from you, cheers David

Pretty much Tom, how many trillion times could one stand repeating the same scenario over and over, but inside eternity there will always be something we haven’t done, and I believe that’s what gives it purpose, cheers David

Heya Bill, I’m not trying to know eternity’s mind, well maybe I am a bit, but I believe our consciousness is part of eternity, and therefore always will be, which gives us infinite possibilities even after death, ergo the monoku, is eternity reasoning with me why it exists, cheers David

David, you are making a profound assumption here in terms of philosophy. When I made the decision to go on the path of business, one of the challenges that awaited me was to conduct a personal inventory and learn more about myself. Therefore, I believe that a comprehensive approach is the best way forward for us to tackle our issues.

Thank you Lasaad, but I think maybe I have misled you in the reasoning here, this one is my interpretation of eternity in general, and why it has to exist, if the cosmos was finite, then at some point eventually we would run out of things to do, and permanently die, but in an eternal cosmos, there are no limits, even death itself has purpose and endless potential and eventually finds a blank sheet, and thrives again, cheers David
