Your grandmother was wise beyond her years Jennifer I believe we can only get a true sense of our place in this cosmos by an actual deep connection rather than just looking at the sky, cheers David

I’ve fished under many a cloudless, star peppered sky, David, but on one occasion the water was so flat calm that the entire sky appeared to be reflected in it. On nights like that one, the torch stays off and you almost fancy you can feel the Earth turning. The weirdest part though, was that little nagging question… Am I watching them or are they watching me. Great monoku, David. Terry. PS… all true that.

Terry you explained my monoku better than I ever could, I’ve had that same moment with the cosmos, only I felt we where watching each other, or I was observing myself as part of the cosmos, I found it quite reassuring almost spiritual, cheers David

David Sir you said you are currently watching the Brian Cox Universe program and i myself watched it last night. That and your Cosmos poem inspired me to write my oe poem called. My Theoretical Magnum Universal Opus May i ask of you to read it please and let me know your thoughts or what you think please

Look at the ancients Christopher they all had some connection with the cosmos, I believe it was hinting at something they couldn’t understand, but they certainly felt it’s presence and it’s reality, they moved heaven and earth to build monuments to it, today it’s the driving force of modern science,

Interesting monoku David, seeing is one thing but are we just skimming the surface and not fully experiencing it, sometimes we just need to slow down a bit and absorb it. Tom
