Read to the ocean when alone
Read to the ocean when alone
read to the ocean
when alone
flat-bottomed tanker
on the horizon
cargo unknown
A gull
one leg steady
sleepy head
drop rhymes
at rock pools
limpid clear
anemones wave
thin red arms
cunjevoi squirt
applause
disappearing
hermit crabs
and lettuce-weed slugs
throw lines to the air
a breeze
a current
drifting
across the sea
