Re Whined

Collar turned up to the evening breeze Hair blowing into my eyes cloud hiding moonlight long leaf pine trees It’s only the lonely replies late church bells ringing somebody singing Sad song sung musings of someone else losing Out here all alone in the dark With the crickets and frogs And occasional sound Of far away laughter Glass tinkling after Soft whispers of leaves dancing sound I’ll sit for a spell In my own special hell And wait for the world to go round
