John, I am finally going through the winners of this contest. For me, yours was definitely one of the better ones. I like most the ones that have more normal sounding syntax. Congrats, my friend, for your win.

I realized on my first draft that all I was doing was making a list! I rewrote to include some verbs and adjectives, though I'm not sure it turned out how I envisioned it. Thanks for the read and congrats!

This is another gem of creativity from your pen my friend. I can't choose whether I love the rhododendrons and resplendent roses, swans and sandpipers or the tropical tamarind trees the best. All of them are magnificent! Congratulations on your win John! :)

So now I'm re-reading this, and think I like the image of socializing sandpipers the best! (but it's really hard to pick just one) Congratulations on your win with your amazing alliteration, jovial John :)

Thank you for making the second trip, Michelle. Sandpipers always bring me a smile because they remind me of the beach, my favorite place to be. ~ Jovial John

You deserve a blue ribbon just for the first word alone... Just looked it up on rhyme zone and see that it rhymes with avunculus and and pedunculus, which are made-up words, no doubt... Wait, peduncle means a collection of nerves in the appendage of an animal, like a dolphin's tail... You and I will be feature attractions at the next (and that would be the first for me) cocktail party we attend. Cheers, Gershon Oh, yeah: Congrats on your win in the contest! :)

I'm gobsmacked that you had to look up avunculus and pedunculus, my literary friend! (sarcastic *wink wink*). Loved your comment, as always. Thanks for bringing me a smile. See you at that cock'tail' party, have you seen any nice dolphins lately?

These are all impressive, but I think I like the T's the best - tangy tart tangerines, yummm :)

This one took some research. I'm not savvy enough to have all these tucked away in memory. This was a hard one, and so little room for error. Hoping Jenish can make sense of it all! Thank you ~ John

I thought of you as I was researching birdnames and came across 'Manx Shearwater'. Wish I could have fit it in. I love a pretty ranunculus; hope yours do well this year. Thanks for the lovely comment Jan ~ John
