Rapture

I spent years wondering
If romance is a liar
A lure into fiction
Of sweet satire.

I thought it was wise
To detest my desire
I pictured frozen blood
In place of glowing fire.

The first time I saw
Love in your eyes
I witnessed art,
A transcending rise.

Your lucent words like
A meteor in motion capture
It was the first time
I felt cosmic rapture.

With you by my side
I am in euphoric capture
And since, I believe
Romance is rapture.

A very beautiful lyric. The doubt about romance, "A lure into fiction Of sweet satire" - is beautifully pictured. Congratulations!
