Random Thoughts of a Poet
Poetry can take one to worlds of wonder
But poets do live in the real world
And politics matters
Everything is not political
as some would have it
But some things are
Tomorrow I will cast my vote
Most won't vote in this minor election
But being a good American I will
make my voice heard
I rememeber seeing a
pretty young woman when I lived in Greenwhich Village
with a sign saying "no vote - no voice"
She smiled at me!
