Childhood memories of rainy days safe inside looking out so wet watching raindrops on window pane running down let's you forget Feels so transfixed in your eyes you're so still bringing great peace the world all seems miles away wishing this peace never to cease Sometime in springtime warm wet as rain gets mixed with sun so dazzling sun shines together with rain makes feel so fun In Scotland we complain so very often as the rain seems to hit us a lot but it's so good for the ground makes plants grow to beauty sought So the rainy day effects are two fold good for growth we must readily admit it sometimes spoils some lovely views but let's reap it's effect for it'll never quit
