Rainbow In the Cloud

When it looks like the sun weren't gonna shine anymore Allah put a rainbow in the cloud
Did you catch my smile on the train today?
It was meant for you
A piece of me to lighten your day
A ray of hope, to remind you that humanity is still alive
Did you catch my smile today?

When it looks like the sun weren't gonna shine anymore Allah put a rainbow in the cloud
Good morning
How are you?
Yes you, I see you
We are not just mindless robot going about our day
We are flesh, bone and many more
I see you my fellow being
I see you

When it looks like the sun weren't gonna shine anymore Allah put a rainbow in the cloud
Do you need a hand?
A hug
A friend
Sit with you
Someone to hear your story
Someone to make you feel human
I am a human being, you can never be alien to me

When it looks like the sun weren't gonna shine anymore Allah put a rainbow in the cloud
At your darkest hour call on me
At your sadness moment come to me
In your time of need reach out to me
Let me be your rainbow in the cloud
Then you can go on to be someone else rainbow in cloud

When it looks like the sun weren't gonna shine anymore Allah put a rainbow in the cloud
We are all meant to be someone's rainbow in the cloud

Thank you Ibrahim for this beautiful poem and for putting the link to Maya Angelou's video; she is truly inspiring and so are you. If we could all be united, whatever our flag, our belief, our names, our color, and our gods . . . and, as Maya Angelou said: "prepare yourself, so that you may be a rainbow in someone else's cloud . . . someone who may not call god the same name you call god, if they call god at all.":) Amitiés

Thank you so much Darren White, but I can't take all the credit. I had the pleasure of coming across this video 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nYXFletWH4' and it was just inspiring.
