Rain song
Miracle Man

A morning breeze swims the air,
and raindrops carrying hidden messages
hit the car splashing out a melody.
Rain is cleansing the sidewalks and driveway,
and while trees move as if dancing,
flower petals paint the ground.
As I sit drowning in the sounds of raindrops,
and those of the neighbor’s rooster,
the flame of hope temporarily dwarfs my pain.
