Rain and Wind
Like drops of rain in clouds of gray,
even rough winds may mean a blessing.
You think that rain only cause disarray,
but rain may rouse the joy of reaping.
Where dearth strikes the face of earth,
rain comes to quench the drought;
Rain pours the damp in heart of dearth,
so plants could have a proper growth.
At times, the wind could be trying,
but without wind, the world is breathless.
The wind commands the path for sailing
on nameless seas and stormy waters.
Be not just mad when there is rain,
learn likewise to count your blessing;
For, rain also paves way for grain,
so life could thrive as time is passing.
