Rain
Sudden and swift this abrupt rain,
A stormy drift of aqueous strains.
Wet all around as waters rush,
Liquid now pounds the furious crush.
The pavement stones of paths discrete,
Cold clashing tones soak wet concrete.
Windy chills float in wet wet air,
As aqueous bloats prime frozen flair.
Drains laden well with furious flow,
As flash floods dwell in morning show.
Rain in full fright can colour wet,
A dunking sight with odds that set.
Such is the day of dreary feel,
Outdoors rain plays to windy chill.
