A 7 rating for a short but great write, my friend. Man is such a complex creation; pity it had to end this way. But we can still remember the good old days! // paul

The song that best tells this story is "Tears of a Clown" by Smokey Robinson and the Miracles. This haiku speaks volumes about the event in just 17 syllables. Very concise. You did use form here and stuck to the 5 7 5 format - shich is good. Peace & Blessings Matthew Anish

Great Haiku tribute my friend. Good Morning Vietnam , ranks as his top for me!!!! Goodwill Hunting next.. So sad that he was not able to live into old age gracefully and happily while realizing what he had truly given the world.....
