Quicken My Heart

Quicken My Heart Quicken my heart to hope again from years of disappointment grim renaissance song of sweet spring no more fond remembering. Let love's karma lead me on to destiny's new coming dawn and inside a murmur of content generates excitement. Quicken my heart to skip a beat when someone new I chance to meet. May passion be the charge that ignites a flame quite large. Wake up my senses to the world as seasons gorgeously unfurl. The heart rejoices as we see natural spontaneity. 10/19/17 Wake Up My Heart Sponsored by: Julie Leigh Rodeheaver

Beautiful romantic yearnings, Janis. This poem danced so passionately w/my eyes as my ears was listening to Luther Vandross' "Never Too Much." A beautiful pairing for such a lovely poem. Passionate poetry at it's best, my dear friend. Love and joy always.

When I read this my first thought went to the poet Kahlil Gibran who said when love finds you worthy it will find you...good luck in the contest
