An intriguing question! Thank goodness the God who answers prayers is not an automaton who gives whatever is asked. He will not gift sin or sinfulness or anything else not part of his will. Hopefully, criminals are found, penalized, and made to pay restitution where possible. Ideally this would happen but we know it doesn't happen all of the time. Thanks for your thought-provoking poem.
