Quest For the Gate

Leave the gate open for me, smile don't flee Cause the train waits for no one The one who rings the bell, winds the clock as well Time passes slowly like an uphill river Stand and wait, ticket in silver The one who sings, only loves alone When the song stops, the train slows The serpents strike, brings lesson's deep Light springs forth from the sky below Angel's strum harps of gold, clouds rumble red Leave the gate open for me, smile don't fear Train rolls across the badlands Heart tears flood, days remembered long Love flames burn dark passages deep She who dances, waits for no prize Darkness falls upon pages written Lighting glows crackling, as thundering music wanders Time sands spill, from mirrored fingers Blue-black waters wash over cliff's of white Spinning stars, meld into a stairway for one Beacon's flash bringing pathways to sight Flowing robes and angels wings Crystalline eyes, voices so sweet They've come to greet, my bleessed soul Come! We've left the gate open for you.
