Quest

To get to deep wisdom that transcends mind, first plot coordinates of reference, aware that we’re floundering about blind, having accorded ego preference. Shallow and narrow is our sense of pride, dwelling in the shadows, knowing not light, negating conscience that resides inside, with fear of freedom, deepening our plight. We know not who we are and yet we strive, deludedly clinging to wisps of straw, hoping against hope that somehow we’ll thrive, granting no time for our cold heart to thaw. On realising we’re lost in life’s maze, surrendering, we turn inward our gaze. Surrendering, we turn inward our gaze, relinquishing each conditioned belief and playfully in void of silence laze, thus effortlessly turning a new leaf. No object in view, we too disappear, whereupon all that is, is throb of bliss, signalling clearly that as God draws near, we feel no fear in the darkest abyss. Upon exiting our meditation, we find ourself back in life’s lucid dream but now our quest is soul’s liberation, free from thought fetters that endlessly stream. Love and light lightens the load on our chest. We plunge into the void; God search our quest. We plunge into the void; God search our quest, for which in truth, we’re a mere receptor, abiding in stillness, thought forms at rest, as God implants in spine His love spectre. This staff of magnetism of which we speak, ignites head to toe, our mind-body shell, whereupon dancing with bliss cheek to cheek, gong of truth sounds to ego, its death knell. With ego shorn, we become the twice born, being simply awareness self-aware, each breath ushering a new blissful morn, as we fly wingless with nary a care. God asks of us to be loving and kind, to get to deep wisdom that transcends mind.
