The media quickly came around with photoflash Flowing champagne caused a sticky splash What fuss commotion and mishmash All because Alicia won the trophy playing Balderdash On her way home Alicia made a dash But in one momentous flash A man with the funniest moustache Drove towards Alicia causing their cars to crash Alicia ended up with a slight whiplash And said to fix the car will need some cash Not much harm was done in the clash In the backseat was Alicia’s trophy standing brash AP: Honorable Mention 2022 Submitted on January 17, 2019 for contest RHYME BATTLE XII sponsored by JULI-MICHELLE Originally posted on February 27, 2018

Alicia is a winner in more than word games; but whiplash can aggravate for years. That man with the moustache, was he from Wabash? Just messing around, love that monorhyme. Great whimsical read.
