Queen Bee In Dog Form Lives Here

A dog in the couch
Sighs deeply
Knowing she is cherished

Not so long ago,
She was being kicked and beaten
In a house, not a home…

She welcome death
Once upon a time, long ago.

She is the queen bee here,
Six years commanding and being
Graced by humans who were as kind
As the others were mean.

When they are called home
She will be sitting on the couch waiting
After vouching for them
Along with their other pets
Who have already taken
Their places on their
Couch in Heaven

What a dear dog she is and I am so delighted she found her Utopia after living in Hell, where these evil morons come from and hopefully will return to one day. A beautiful poem Caren, I sometimes feel I love animals more than humans when I read of some of the atrocities that are inflicted upon others!! Kindest thoughts Ann xx

This dog looked like she had been starved, beaten, and was shaking so hard when I saw her, I was hesitating. I had no idea how she would do with children. I heard my husband say "we will take her," and he forked over some money, and we were off, this shaking, scared to death dog and us. This was six years ago. She is a contented little pig dog now, and has two hostages, and her own cat.
