Puzzle Box
Puzzle Box
I closed my eyes to meditate
And traveled deep into my mind,
A crossroad to a puzzle box
That Father Time had left behind.
The reflection of my soul within
A little dusty, old, and faded,
No matter what roads I walked
Not one minute would be traded.
The missing pieces that I see
Have been lost for many years,
Some were bent and broken
From crying too many tears.
My soul created a butterfly
To distract me from that path,
Remember what a smile is
And the secret is to laugh.
