Purple People Eater

Have you heard of the Purple People Eater Dad says she's quite lovely if you get a chance to greet her I'd imagine she's a gigantic ball of purple soft fluff Just because she's cute doesn't mean she's not tough Sure she looks a little odd with only one eye People look scream and run while she silently cries She's seeking a friend and some fun Wants her days of being called a monster to be done Don't be fooled by her name She doesn't really swallow people whole as a game She's different, unique, truly a one-of-a-kind A rare beautiful treasure for anyone to find Sure she looks real mean with a horn on her head That horn plays the loveliest of music, not something to dread Her appearance isn't her fault, she isn't to blame At the end of the day she just wishes to be treated like you just the same While you're busy pointing out her flaws and everything you consider to be wrong All she desires is to fit in and belong On the outside she looks peculiar quite out of the ordinary I'd like to meet her I bet inside she's truly extraordinary

You made the purple people eater into a delight, something to love and not fear. She must eat up our smiles!!!
