Kim Merryman Poet Quatrain

Purple

Purple faced pansies,
Majestic mountains, too,
Ripe, luscious grapes and plums,
Fragrant wisteria all in purple hues.

Color of kings and noblemen,
Only they could afford,
This rich, lavish color,
That I so adore.
