Purdy

Purdy my dog has passed away Seventeen years of love and play I miss her so much it is hard to say A bundle of love there every day She started to bark in a strange way I went to the vet hoping she would say She be okay you can go away She said her heart was at stage five This was her final few days I cried so much inside This was final my watery eyes I rubbed her up and down My beautiful Purdy pure love Her favorite blanket I put around Out in my back garden under the ground The little things lying around all her toys I found Every day I find some reason to cry Such a short life purdy and I oxox RIP

Hope your okay mate. I had a little Jack Russel who also lived for 17 years. When I took him to the vets to be put down it was beyond traumatic! The vet was a kindly soul...she left me for twenty minutes in a back room holding his dead body and sobbing my heart out. I have tears in my eyes right now. Console yourself with the thought that you loved and cherished her for 17 years...and what is just as important - your little dog knew it too! She will always be with you - always! Your friend. john
